Freezing Works Competitions …
Fire and Safety Training assist and judge the annual Emergency Rescue Team competitions for Silver Fern Farms and Alliance Group. It is a day of competitions where the Emergency Rescue Squad are put into teams and compete against each other in scenarios set up on the following subjects: Breathing Apparatus, Search and Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Dangerous Goods, Height Rescue and Fire Extinguisher handling. First Aid and CPR are also assessed and judged by other providers.
It is always great day, where teams put their skills to the test in real life situations. Winners receive trophies and prizes at the prize giving held in the evening.
